This is one of my favorite sims. She
lost her default skin somewhere along the way and keeps glitching out
to this ashy mess. She is Misept Sol, the older sister, and I totally
forget her traits.
So I fix her up as best I can.
Turns out she's flirty.
And their signs are compatible!
#10 Wish of the day → Become Good
friends with someone. Aww...!
He may be tired, but it seems like he'd
go home with her in a heartbeat.
She sits down to eat so I send him to
sit next to her (following the friendship wish)
“I have an idea!”
“...Okay, let's hear it.”
“Since I quit my job in politics even
though it was kind of interesting, what if I did something a bit
different?”
“For example, I could become a
fishersim.”
He can't tell if she's being polite or
agreeing when she nods, her mouth full of food. It's either really
great food, she was starving, or she's a really good listener.
“But really I'm trying to decifer the
best way to get you to come back to my place.”
(My imagination, but why is he talking
to her about all this stuff?) At least he's honest!
She carries on as if he hadn't said
anything at all.
Wish #11 Become good friends with
Sephut.
But they like similar viral videos, and
he learns about her hatred for cheap party decorations...
And they are able to talk more.
#12 Kiss Sephut for the first time.
I invite her over so they can talk more
privately (I think I can do that, they don't wish to invite each
other, do they? But the friendship wish or the romance one could be
accomplished more if he invites her to stay over...)
“How do you like my little place? I'm
new in town and it's a bit small, but I put a substantial downpayment
on it.”
Eventually, she's flirting with him. If
he was lost in a sea of stars and she was here on the ground, she'd
still be able to pick him out of the sky and know it was him, she
thinks. He stands out.
“Like a rare species of endangered
butterfly.”
Aww. Well that's pretty flattering.
So he offers a thank you massage.
(Some of this was autonomous, I don't
recall which parts because I basically used the kiss wish as an
excuse to do other romantic interactions first (I don't think they
can wish for most of these, which is my reasoning)
He gives her a super great
'Will-you-be-my-girlfriend' massage, he's dated before and usually a
girl would want to be asked around this time.
But it's late, and she suggests they
get some rest instead.

He dreams mundane dreams...
And he wakes up wondering if he's just
addicted to falling in love. He can't see settling down, getting
married. Why do sims DO that?
Is Sephut the kind of woman... who
could change his mind?
'Nah... I'll never change my mind about
this.' He thinks.
Conscientious that she's in someone
else's home, Sephut stays behind to make the bed while he freshens up
for the morning.
And then he comes outside to stare at
her.
'That @ss is money right there'

Or there's the wholesome
interpretation; 'If I had someone like this at home every morning,
helping to take care of the place, I could just focus on going out
and making money.'
(but I'm pretty sure he's having some
flashback to his gangbanger days) Unnecessary note: I enjoyed the
second urban dictionary definition of Gangbanger better than the
first. Something about 'an idiot on the street making their ethnicity
look bad and hurting innocent people.' Not that I think he was like
that.
#1 Wish of the day. Talk to someone.
“Have you ever thought about getting
engaged to someone that you care about?” (This is the get to know
interaction!)
“Or have you been in love?”
She's not sure, love is complicated.
How does someone know that what they're feeling is real?
(points for friendship wish, they're
good friends!)
And then it's honesty and next wish
time.
“Because I'm not sure if I know much
about love, or if this is what it feels like in the first moments...”
“Or if it's not, but...”
Turns out that she is an amazing
kisser. Maybe he feels that his time in Lucky Palms will be at least
a little bit fortunate?
Especially when she pulls him in for
another one. “Aren't you overthinking this a bit?”
“I've got to work soon, but I really
hope you'll come over again.”
Additional picture because I love the
ochre color of his eyes. Is that what his dad had? Also, they're not
the same color but his mom had gray-blue eyes and Misept has medium
to deep blue. Is that why he liked her right away? She felt like
home?
...Now I'm the one overthinking their
relationship!
He has no more wishes pertaining to
Sephut, so I don't initiate anything more. She keeps firting with him
though.
“I keep thinking that you and I are
going to be the best of friends.”
“I don't know I think you're way too
pretty to just be friends with.”
“Does membership to that club come
with any particular ...benefits?”
(That eyebrow!)
But his carpool arrives and he has to
leave before he can get any answer from her. Instead of friends, they
are 'Romantic Interests'. She heads out too, she has kids to teach.
And his Lifetime Happiness Points are
up to 9,100. Not a bad start to the day. Bills take 347 out of his
513 simoleon bank though!
Everet rolls no wishes that morning AT
ALL. Maybe the 'Fulfilled' Moodlet has something to do with this?
Finally he rolls these;
#2 Buy a TV (He got paid, so I lock it
in)
#3 Buy a Horseshoe court (ughhh no we
can't keep spending at least the tv has athletic and cooking uses)
To help his career along, I have him
suck up to the boss a bit, which gives him a 'Sellout'
Moodlet as a rebellious sim. Negative hit for two hours.
Then he meets this chick after work, Marisol Loera.
They just get to chatting when this
guy, Ariel Hudson, comes running up out of nowhere and gives her the
stink eye. But, she's not dating anyone, so...?
And he ends up playing kicky bag with
Ariel buried in a half-pile of sand.
And when I think he's driving home from
work he stops randomly outside this guy''s house to play kicky bag
with him, too. Ezekiel Reid.
They play for about four hours. Just
like college probably, if Everet had gone to a place like that instead of a place like this.
He's interrupted by a call.
Amos Ananya wants to hang out. (I
choose the option 'sure, come over!')
And he arrives home shortly thereafter,
still not having once wished to serve food at the buffet.
And how's that for a tv, ya filthy
animal!? (I trade the buffet for it, but it's still the cheapest one
that he can still use to learn)
Then the following wishes pop up, one
after the other;
#3 Play a game with Amos
#4 Play Hopscotch
#5 Sing Karaoke
Then, ignoring the friend he's just
invited over, he showers and heads right to bed.
End of Day he has 134 Simoleons to his
name and over 10k LTHpts (I get him the 'no bills' reward)
The next morning he wakes up at 3:45 am
feeling well rested. He makes pasta with pesto, does the dishes,
cleans the toilet, and sits down to read a book.
And... picks up the trash! (Maybe I am
the one who is lucky)
Wish #1 Learn the Gardening Skill
He has the day off as it's Leisure Day,
so I send him to the grocery store to buy a few things to plant, not
noticing this awesome park (which I am internally calling Protest
Park) has free fruit literally hanging all over it.
So go harvest, too! (I resell some
things he gathers to make up for buying the previous fruit in the first place)
This crazy chick is here, playing with
her puppy. We don't have time for that, and his new wishes rolled while gardening are;
#2 Throw a pool Party (No: location
parties are weird and have no money for supplies)
#3 Get pumped (He reached level four of
athletic already by playing so much golf and kicky bag. I lock it
in.)
#4 Buy 100 simoleons worth of furniture
(Okay, locked in but confusing What can be bought for that much that isn't a useless plant?)
#5 Start a Protest. (yes! Sounds fun!)
Since there's no such wish as 'Don't suck at protesting', I'm gonna
use the gray area to control him for a while. This is now dubbed
Protest Park by me after all.
Being a born salesman and negotiator
type sim Everet chooses low working wages as a cause, it's one of the
more difficult ones, but if successful will raise everyone's wages by
a bit. A very, very worthy cause!
He invites friends over to the park
first. Love the group conversation interaction. I wonder if that was
in an update sometime. He called Amos, first, then Sephut.
And his boss Jaycen (just for irony
sake, although he's a friend now too). At the right moment, Everet
announces what he's planning.
Amos: “This is what you want to do on
leisure day?”
“Yeah, think about it, people will be
outside, maybe we can sway things in the right way so there's a
favorable decision about wages.”
Amos leaves, but to his credit he
doesn't laugh it off. No work should ever be done on Leisure day! I
can only assume he has a pool party somewhere.
Jaycen, the newly coined town gigolo, makes good use
of Everet announcing his protest to people at the other side of the
park and makes a move on Sephut.
Being flirty, she accepts his flowers.
Everet hasn't noticed, he's talking to
that girl from work, Marisol.
“If it's too hot out, you can use
this like a parasol too, but I think we need your support, Marisol!”
Here's the 100+ Simoleon piece of
furniture he wished for.
This bird is a part of the boss' playboy
persona, unexpectedly.
But it seems to work for Sephut, who so
far has no interest in protesting even though she was invited here
specifically for this purpose!
He accepts flowers from her, ignoring
that they are white (for friendship),
And promptly gets confused when she
rejects his flirtations advances.
Meanwhile, Everet learns how best to
use his charisma to strike up any crowd into a wage-increasing
frenzy!
So I'll cover the protest next time
(it's day 5 if anyone cares to count)

Don't know how Sephut really feels
about him yet, but at least she has standards. Being florty I was
surprised she rejected Jaycen!
For those that are curious about this
challenge, it's basically played by following the whims of sims and
only being able to direct them to fulfill their whims.
